Hello Nicki, your video hit me right home! I am definitely in an uncomfortable situation with my family…especially my mother. It has been so difficult, but I can’t but feel that God is having be there for a reason. I get discouraged by thinking about the past, and then the future…like “will this ever end?” But the quote about doing just today is excellent, and I need to engrave it in my mind! Thank you for the encouragement!
Nikki, I have only been a friend of yours for a short time. Your faithfulness has been an encouragement to me. So I would like to encourage you with these thoughts. Everyone has a story to tell. The famous to the simpleton. It does not matter whether you have one follower or thousands. That one person is the one who may not have been encouraged to read the bible or pray to our Father, or to become a follower of Christ if it was not for your courage to speak of the wonderful gifts and promises that our ours if we except the Lord as our Savior. Wow! Thank You–Just what I NEEDED to hear today. This confirms what God is saying to me. I just quit my Nursing job 2 days ago–so stressed out!! Then worried about what to do next. I had always thought about doing Home health -but get lost so easy. Well today I took a job with home health.. and needed to hear just do today–step by step–He will guide me.
I must say that your message really inspired me to have a better attitude toward stepping out of my comfort zone of teaching middle school this year. I has always loved teaching self-contained classes and I asked my principal if I could go to an elementary class to do so. I prayed to God for His will in this situation. Nevertheless, he answered me by having me teach middle school again and an advanced mathematics course (Algebra I)! Well, I know that He will give me the grace and everything I need to move forward and glorify Him by blessing my students.
I must say that you Googling the other participants in the conference was no mistake. There are no mistakes with God. He is just allowing you to see what great things that He can and will do through you at the conference among many persons of great expertise. You will excel amongst them and do exceedingly well.
I pray that you learn from others and show others the glory of God within this event. Your are in my prayers. I know that you will fly! Remember, God has you and everything you are experiencing in His mighty and capable hands. Take care!

Life can be super stressful when we are facing so many unknowns especially with job situations. I am praying for you and I hope that you will be lead very soon into the right position that God has for you. Keep listening, He’s speaking to you!!
I think it takes a very special person to teach middle school!! So I KNOW that God has great plans for you this next year. Walk in His confidence of the path that He is leading you and you will do GREAT things within that generation.
And yes, there are NO mistakes. I have felt very ok…A LOT out of place at this conference. (I’m here now) BUT…I do know that God likes us to be exposed to great voices out there and I feel so blessed to have been able to hear and soak in the wisdom of these very well known and published authors and speakers.
